World’s Thinnest Cellphone In India This July

Ascend P1 S is the thinnest phone in the world from Huawei that measures at the width of just 6.68 mm.

Last month the Consumer Electronic Show took place in Las Vegas, the show witnessed many new and innovative electrical products and devices. Amongst all this was introduced the thinnest Android phone of this world, the Huawei Ascend P1 S with a width of only 6.68 mm. And the best part is, this phone will soon be exclusively available for Indian customers by July 2012.

Anand Narang, the director of marketing in Huawei has confirmed that the company will offer the Ascend P1 S to world by June and in July for Indian customers.

Taking about specs the phone will be wrapped with Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0 – straight out of the box. With 4.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with qHD and a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels resolution. The Ascend P1 S Android phone will have an 8 megapixel camera on rear that will have features such as autofocus, dual-LED flash, HDR, Geo-tagging and video recording capabilities at 1080p@30fps. On the front will be 1.3MP camera that has the capacity of 720p HD videos and of course for 3G calling.

To support the Android Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0 the slim phone will have 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM and an expandable memory slot for saving you HD quality images, videos, music and other stuffs that is preferable according to you.

If you are wondering whether this slim phone will have battery issue because of its thinness, then trash those worries as the Huawei Ascend P1 S will come with 1800 mAh Standard battery that will run for a longer time. The phone comes with colors such as metallic black, cherry-blossom pink and ceramic white. These colors will surely meet every persons color hunger for their phone.

With the wireless connectivity the Ascend P1 S Smart Phone has 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth v3.0 with HS and A2DP.

Underneath the phone runs dual-core Cortext-A9 processor that clocks at 1.5 GHz, TI OMAP 4460 chipset and PowerVR SGZ540 GPU.
