Top 5 Upcoming Tablets Of 2012

Android tables have remained the hot tablets throughout the year and the Apple iPad at top. This year we all are expecting to get one of the best tablets in markets with quad-core processors and better cameras. All the new tabs that are going to launch this year would be having a better feature, deign and lower price too.

Let’s see the upcoming tablets this year in 2012.

1. Sony Tablet P

This tablet is expected to be out in the month of February 2012. This is the folding tablet that has two screens. It has a 5-inch screen and together it gives you 10-inch. As this one is PlayStation (PSP) certified, therefore everyone is looking forward to this.

The Tablet P has a processor of dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 and with Android Honeycomb OS. It has 0.3 Mega Pixels in front and 5.0 Mega Pixels in rear. It really has some unique design with some better UI.

This has support of connectivity of both Wi-Fi and 3G. It has internal memory of 4GB and can also be extended to 16 GB. This one would cost around Rs. 36,990 INR.

2. Samsung Galaxy 7.7

Till the next month in March the Samsung Galaxy 7.7 would be released, but till now no official announcement has been made. This tablet will have a 7.7-inch screen Super AMOLED + Display with the resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It would be having a 1.4 GHz dual-core microprocessor with Mail-400MP chipset that will have the Android 3.2 Honeycombs OS.

In this slate, Samsung has added a special control known as Universal Remote Control, which allows you to control all the home entertainment system and also television with this tablet.

It supports 3G as well as Wi-Fi and would also have SIM for call and purposes. It would be Having 3 Mega Pixels camera in rear and with 2.0 Mega Pixels front. It has 16 megapixels front and with 32 and 64 GB expandable memory. This would cost around Rs. 30,000 INR.

3. Motorola XOOM 2

Not like the XOOM, this XOOM 2 is loaded with some better features and better design. It is not clear that the XOOM 2 would release in India or not, but in different part it has been released.

We are expecting to get this in India till next three month. This XOOM 2 would be coming out with two versions that in 8.2-inch and 10.1-inch screen with a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.  Both the versions have an LTE along with Wi-Fi. This also has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. This one has Android 3.2 in it.

The 10.1-inch model has a separate keyboard as an accessory. This XOOM would cost you around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000.

4. Acer Iconia A200

Acer Iconia A200 is a 10-inch mid range tablet. It has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and has a processor of dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2.  It also has a capability of 1080p HD video recording.

Powered with Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS it can be upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich v4.0. For video chat it has a 2.0 Mega pixels camera in the front. It has a 2.0 USB port and will support 3G dongles. It does not have a SIM slot and for Internet connection but has Wi-Fi connection.

It will give you a better audio quality as it has a dual speaker. This tab is expected to be launched in the month of March and price would be range to Rs. 20,000 INR.

5. ASUS Transformer Prime TF201

This ASUS Transformer Prime TF2012 is going to launch in the month of February. This tab has a keyboard that helps you to transform this Android tablet into a Laptop. Seeing this you might know why is it said as a transformer.

It features a 10.1-Inch touch screen with a Dual-core NVIDIA Tegra Processor, that has a Android 3.2 honeycomb ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich). It supports 3G, Wi-Fi and also has a Bluetooth.

This one would cost around Rs 29, 999 INR.
