Samsung Galaxy S3 VS HTC One XCell Phones Comparisons — By Naveen Vaidhya on April 6, 2012 at 2:42 pm
The season of smartphone has already begun with the release of three different class phones i.e. HTC One X, HTC One V and HTC One S. Today we are comparing the upcoming giant Samsung Galaxy S3 with HTC One X.
We know it is not great to compare the fictional and the original, but we are comparing the specification, which we believe would be added to the new daddy of galaxy family.
There is an image released by Korean company that the device (Samsung Galaxy S3) may release on May 22. So just to spice up the rumors lets us compare rumored v/s released.
Processor & GPU
As we know that HTC One X has two versions of Processor i.e. Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC for International users which will be a quad core, with 1.5GHz. A fifth core to easily get the tasks done also supports the device. For HTC One X AT&T users, the processor has different processor provided by Qualcomm. The processor is Snapdragon S4 which is only a dual-core processor. But the important difference here is that the cores of S4 is faster than that of Tegra 3 and hence scores better on International user’s processor.
Now for Samsung Galaxy S3, the rumours has hit and said that the device would be supported by a ARM A9 processor with Exynos 4212 chip. The processor is quad-core and none other than Samsung designs the chip. It is also been rumored that the device will be clocked at 1.8GHz. Now this is way faster than that of HTC One X. The GPU is still not been rumored by anyone, but even if they use the previous GPU and work over it a bit, this will definitely score over the latest sensation HTC One X.
Now the Supportive Elements:
|Feature||HTC One X||Samsung Galaxy S3 (Rumored)|
|Storage and Ram||32GB Storage with 1GB RAM||32GB Storage and 2GB RAM|
|Display||4.7inch Super LCD with 720p resolution.||4.6inch Super AMOLED HD display with 1280 x 720 resolution.|
|OS and Extra||Android ICS 4.0||Android ICS 4.0|
|Camera||8MP with ImageSense technology||12MP Camera (Rumored)|
Though Samsung Galaxy S3 is rumored to be the phone of the year, HTC One X has done enough to beat the rumors of the Galaxy S3 in terms of daily use of Cameras and the music with the integration of high quality image sensing for camera and beats audio for MP3s. Samsung Galaxy now has developed another big competitor other than Apple iPhone i.e. HTC One X.
