Samsung Galaxy Pocket And S Advance Launched in India With Affordable Prices

Samsung has announced two new cool handsets for summers in India. They have expanded the Galaxy series with the launch of these two budget friendly Android Smartphones.

The one phone is Samsung Galaxy S Advance and the other is Samsung Galaxy Pocket. The Galaxy S Advance in higher with hardware credentials while the Galaxy Pocket has entry level specs. Lets take look at them one by one.

Samsung Galaxy Pocket in budget friendly smartphone that is priced under Rs. 10,000. The Android has 2.8 inch display with 3G support and has 832MHz processor to handle multitasking efficiently and to support the multimedia content the phone supports 3GB internal memory and can be expandable up to 32GB in size. The phone is 11.9 mm thick and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System. It sports a 2 megapixel camera that takes good photos and videos. Lastly it has 1200 MAh battery too support all your tasks for whole one day.

Samsung Galaxy S Advance:

The Samsung Galaxy S Advance was first introduced in Mobile World Congress and now the phone is finally arrived in India. The phone is truly an advanced phone as the names says — it comes with a beautiful 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen that is found on high end smartphones and runs on dual-core processor that clocks are 1GHz. The phone is treat for the phone who always wanted to enjoy the features of Smartphone in low price. Galaxy S Advance sports a 5MP camera that records @720p HD videos and takes quality images. For video calling the phone has 1.3 front facing camera. The phone sports a matte finish on the back and not like other phones that comes in plastic body. The phone will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Operating System but we are not sure whether the phone will get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

In terms of hardware credentials the phone has 768MB RAM 1500 mAh battery, 32GB expandable micro SD card and the Galaxy S Advance will be priced at Rs. 26,900. But it’s better to get the Samsung Galaxy S2, which is priced at just Rs. 1,000 extra. The Galaxy S2 is also said to be the world’s best Smartphone till now.
