The Galaxy Ace from the Korean company did very well from its first day of its launch in India and rest of the world. But now the time of this mid range Galaxy phone has gone and Samsung brought a successor of Galaxy Ace to keep the legend going on.

Samsung has taken provided with many new improvements than its predecessor like space between keys, upgraded processor and bigger internal memory.

Looking at the specs the Galaxy Ace Plus is definitely a good phone than its predecessor except the camera. Even though Android has released its new Ice Cream Sandwich to most of the Samsung high end devices except the Galaxy S2, the Ace Plus runs only on 2.3.6 Gingerbread, which is undoubtedly the best OS by Android yet. The phone runs seamlessly on the phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus has good LCD capacitive screen with good contrast rate and brightness level. Even its touchscreen has no issue, its quite responsive. The Ace Plus incorporates proximity sensor but lacks of ambient surface and that’s a disappointment, as you have adjust brightness level manually according to the condition.

There three standard keys below the phone, which very common in Samsung Galaxy series. The is the physical Home button is the middle while the other to capacitive buttons – Menu and Back is on left and right respectively. Readers should not that the capacitive buttons are only visible when touched. On the left side of the phone there is a volume rocker. The power and lock key is on the right side, which is also common in Samsung phones but microSD card slot is not present on the side of the phone buy under the battery cover.

On the top is 3.5mm jack for audio and crack for opening the backside of the phone to replace battery or microSIM. On the bottom is the USB port and mic hole.

With all these features the Ace Plus once again remains the unbeatable one. If you are ready live without some extra features like front camera, higher resolution screen, larger screen and better video recording than the phone is the best one for you that is also light on wallet. You can find these types of phone in much higher price than what the Ace Plus is offered and some of these phones are HTC Salas, Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V, Motorola DEFY.
