Breaking News: Samsung announces its Q4 2011 results.
This might not be that appealing as the results as Apple’s are but this doesn’t means that the Korean company isn’t making any profits. The unofficial report of the Q4 results was posted few weeks back by Engadget. But this is the official one by Samsung themselves.
Samsung reported a $4.7 billion revenue in the last four months for 2011. This makes a total 1.8 billion increase from last year and in total they made whopping $42 billion sales of which most of the credit goes to their 300 million phones sold worldwide! Smart Phone business was credited to 40 percent and the rest was from other business. Even Samsung’s Display Panels made a good business with its LED TVs that increased the sales by 20 percent recording a profit worth $7.6 billion.
The Korean company has given some anticipation for 2012. They have speculated the mobile business to grow more and more as they have many great phones lined up like the Galaxy S III and the already released Galaxy Note is already making a good business in markets plus some good Windows phones are also coming in. They even said that the sales of TV are going to remain good as they company is going to take part in the London Olympics and will roll many Smart TVs for that.
