News — By Naveen Vaidhya on May 29, 2012 at 10:58 amToday, we are going to show you world’s thinnest Android smartphone “Huawei Ascend P1 S” that will come in Consumer Electronics Show in this year January. Even before Huawei Ascend P1 S is present worldwide, already there is a latest version, which is even thinner. Chinese handset maker Oppo has declared that is will take pre-orders of the Finder smartphone, which is a measly 6.65 mm thick. Hence, Finder may be restricted just to China; it is certainly a huge milestone.

In the meantime, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched Finder, an Android device having only 6.65mm that is 0.03mm thinner than Ascend P1 S smartphone. Oppo Finder will be there in China from 6th June onwards. The Finder will perform on Android 4.0 Ice-Cream Sandwich with Oppo’s new user interface and 1.5GHz dual-core mobile processor. One more surprising feature of this handset is, it contains a 4.3 inch Super Amoled Plus display, 1GB RAM, and 8-megapixel camera that is capable to capture 1080p HD video. For the record, this Android smartphone will be vended at 4,000 Yuans that is around Rs. 34,860. Hopefully, by upcoming year we will see smartphones as thin as 5-6mm.
