New Xiaomi Mi-Two Smartphone Is First Ever Quad-Core Krait
Today's Special — By Naveen Vaidhya on August 17, 2012 at 5:41 amXiaomi recently declared the Xiaomi Mi- Two the first ever handset to utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 S4 Pro chipset that blew present mobile chipsets out of water in previous benchmark. It is nothing like previous leak we seen. There is also an upgrade of their earlier model; however we will receive that in a moment. The Xiaomi Mi-Two will be the speediest smartphone on the market the moment it releases in October. We have checked dual-core Krait CPUs stand up to quad-core Cortex-A9 designs, however the APQ8064 chip has 4 Krait cores, Adreno 320 and 2GB RAM. Xiaomi commits Xbox 360-like graphics performance and that may not only be PR talk.

The Mi-Two’s screen will be a 4.3” IPS LCD with 720p resolution, it will be an 8MP camera on back MHL-enabled USB, video recording, 16GB built-in storage, HSP1+ capable of 42Mbps and microSD card slot. The standard battery is 200mAh and there is an optional 3000mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi-Two processes 126mm x 62mm x 10.2mm. This phone will be cost RMB 1,999; it is one of the inexpensive quad-core smartphones out there.
We have prevented to call it an Android phone, because Xiaomi utilizes their highly customized MIUI software that is Android in an iOS mould. Remain; the software is dependent on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The launcher has its own voice recognition that is strange considering how nice Google Now is.
The 2nd phone, which Xiaomi declared today is Xiaomi 1S, an update of Mi-One. It will utilize a speedier 1.7GHz dual-Core processor, when the rest of specs are as similar as on its predecessor. This will be cost RMB 1,499, when it releases on 23rd August.
