Back in February 2012 at Mobile World Congress the partnership between Indian handset manufacturer Lava and world’s biggest chipmaker Intel was announced. The phone runs on Intel Atom processor and has been officially announced in India.

The Lava Xolo X900 price in India is Rs. 22,000 and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but it will soon get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in coming week, as the procedure for it still going on.
The Intel Smartphone runs on 1.6 GHz processor and was launched in Delhi where Katrina Kaif and Lava officials unveiled the phone. Lets see the phone is:
Lava Xolo X900 Review:
Lava and Micromax are two Indian mobile manufactures who are always known for innovative designs and features and this aspects shines on the Intel powered Lava Xolo X999 Android phone. The phone is quite slim and sleek that has a total weight of 127 grams, making it very light on hands and pocket while operating and carrying the phone respectively. It is even sleek and compact while measuring at only 10.99 mm thickness.

In display the phone has capacitive touch sensitive keys that gives a chic look to the Android phone and also looks neat, clean and not messy like other phones. On the rear the phone has been slapped with matte looks with rubbery finishing for better grip. On its side the phone has chrome trimmings on all the sides that adds matches the complete black color finish. Overall the looks the phone is chic and sexy, it’s little towards boxy side but that is something gives the true feel of a smartphone with the Xolo and Intel Inside Logo brandished on it.
In terms of processor the Lava Xolo X900 has 1.6 GHz Atom processor form the Intel. And for extra knowledge of our readers the 1.6Ghz processor is fastest processing and clocking speed by far beating even the latest quad-core processor that is found in HTC One X.

The Xolo X900 runs on Google’s Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, we the OS is little outdated but Lava has promised an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update very soon.
It has 1GB RAM to play all your HD videos efficiently without any lags; it is also great for seamless interface on Android 2.3 and multitasking. And to boost the processing speed like opening of an app or loading a web page the Lava Xolo X900 does it lightening fast, thanks to its 1.6 GHz processor. However the real results will only be seen in the benchmark test.

The Intel phone sports an 8MP camera with LED flash and has the capacity to record HD videos at 1080p @30fps. The phone manufacturers also claim that the Xolo X900 feature burst mode that enables the phone to capture 15 different images in less than 1 second, allowing you to choose the best image from them.
In hardware the Lava Xolo X900 features almost same specifications that other phones has in the category of Rs. 22,000 price tag with the only difference is its fastest processor and 16GB internal memory.
The phone exclusively been in partnership with Croma stores all over the country and will hit the electronic store on 23 April with more retailers will be added eventually.
