Apple’s iPhone 5 Soon in India

Apple’s iPhone 5 is going to hit Indian market in the first week of November. An Apple India spokesperson said “distributors Ingram Micro and Redington India will start supplying iPhone 5 from November 2 to retailers.” Both of the mentioned suppliers are authorised distributors of iPhone.

Ingram Micro in a statement said “it will offer iPhone 5 at leading modern trade stores and retail outlets across India beginning Friday, November 2″. He also said that iPhone is going to be sold at 40 cities in India.
The price of iPhone is still a secret, as none of the any authorised distributors could speak about the pricing. Similarly, Apple has also kept it a secret.

iPhone 5 is 7.6 millimetres thin and it weighs around 112 grams. Compared to iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 is 18% thinner and 20% lighter. It has a 4-inch display screen. A major difference between earlier version of iPhones and iPhone 5 is use of A6 chip for latter one which is twice faster than earlier ones.”So apps launch, web pages load and email attachments appear almost instantly,” Apple said in a statement.

Both the authorised distributors are supposed to start booking in advance.
