Android being Google’s OS, it is very easy for them include all the Google services into their phone which the whole world uses so often. If you use Google services like Google Talk, Gmail, Google Search, Google Calendar, etc.

App Integration:

The OS also allows you to integrate with third party apps like Facebook, Twitter, etc. They can even import contacts into your address book.

The answer is simple: Yes. With Android phone the customization level is awesome. Google services are well integrated into these devices. Plus the new Android 4.0 ICS gives you a full desktop experience. All these are not available on iOS or Windows Phone.
